“Il maltempo di maggio ha inciso parecchio sulle vendite. Ad ogni modo restiamo fiduciosi per i saldi: l’assortimento di capi non manca, e l’auspicio è quello di fare buoni affari.” Ad una settimana dalla partenza delle vendite di fine stagione – da sabato prossimo 6 luglio, per due mesi – è soprattutto un’aria di cautela quella che si respira tra gli operatori del settore moda abbigliamento e che ha rilevato FISMO-Confesercenti Modena.

 

La situazione. Il freddo e le avverse condizioni atmosferiche che hanno condizionato l’intero mese di maggio, si sono ripercosse in modo pesante sull’attività dei negozi di abbigliamento e calzature, annullando di fatto un avvio di stagione in sintonia con l’anno passato. “Pochissima la gente vista all’interno dei negozi tanto nel capoluogo che in provincia, ed ancor meno gli acquisti”, rileva l’Associazione. Chiaramente qualche eccezione c’è stata, specie tra quelli che hanno preso a muoversi su canali di vendita alternativi come l’online. Ma nella stragrande maggioranza, il periodo appena trascorso è stato bollato, non positivo ed in qualche caso disastroso da mettere perfino in pericolo la sopravvivenza degli esercizi commerciali. Con giugno ed il bel tempo la tendenza ha preso ad invertirsi (almeno per i capi del periodo: costumi mare, ciabatte, borse mare, t-shirt). Qualche cliente in più si è visto, ma l’auspicio resta quello di vederne in numero maggiore a partire dal 6 luglio prossimo. L’aspettativa per le vendite di fine stagione dunque c’è, anche per avere una boccata d’ossigeno significativa, dopo i mesi appena trascorsi. A prevalere però, in generale è la cautela con previsioni almeno al momento altalenanti. Tra gli operatori si oscilla tra: le poche aspettative, tendenze nel segno della stabilità, proseguimenti in scia – per quelli che comunque hanno venduto – coi ricavi ottenuti fino ad ora, la speranza di un inversione di tendenza e qualche ottimistico incremento ma solo dalla seconda parte del periodo quando gli sconti saliranno al 50% (per chi non li praticherà da subito). “Confidiamo sui saldi. Si tratta di un periodo di due mesi circa, come sempre molto atteso ed il cui appeal nonostante tutto resiste – fa sapere Roberta Simoni, Presidente FISMO-Confesercenti Modena – Perché permette di acquistare prodotti che magari si desiderano da tempo, ad un prezzo più conveniente e vantaggioso. Senza contare l’aspettativa da parte degli operatori. E cioè di un’iniezione di liquidità importante e significativa, dopo la frenata degli acquisti subita dai capi di abbigliamento in generale durante il mese di maggio appena trascorso.”
